The Somontano region is located in the central area of the county of Huesca, extending between the external mountains of the Pyrenees and the vast plains of the Monegros. The Somontano DO, example of modernity, and the cellars, youths and dynamics, have been able to conserve and to increase the wine patrimony of the district. The traditional knowledge of its people, obtained after hundred of years of vintages, cohabits today with the new technologies. The extraordinary variety of landscapes is joined by the wealth of its historical heritage. The whole territory is scattered with beautiful constructions and beautiful urban buildings that take us to far off times. Our proposal is to combine the wine tour with visits of arquitectonical interest. As an option, the Somontano wine tour, can be also combined with adventure sports as the this region is a privileged place for the sport practice. From the walks for the old paths that furrow these lands, to the adventure sports, you will find a thousand forms of waking up the senses.
