Visit the Barcelona city, taste our wines and gastronomy, enjoy the marvellous historic centre of Barcelona and finalize the tour with a cooking workshop in a large farmhouse in the Catalan Pyrenees. The house has been completely restored with recycled building materials, while retaining its original structure. Day 1 – Barcelona
Collection at Barcelona airport and transport to selected hotel in the city. Our bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel for a 3 hours “tapas tour”. Stroll the Gothic Quarter and the Bohemian Ramblas while tasting the famous tapas. The historic centre is imbued with a bohemian atmosphere. In the afternoon enjoy a Gaudí heritage tour by a local expertise guide (4 hours). The tour starts on the Passeig de Gracia with a visit to either Gaudi’s Casa Batlló or the Pedrera with its futuristic roof top and breathtaking views across the city. Gastronomic dinner booked at the Barcelona harbour.

Day 3 to Day 6 Sant Martí D’Ogassa
Breakfast at hotel. Transport to the Sant Marti D´Ogassa (2 hours from Barcelona). We invite to enjoy and share the traditional natural lifestyle in this beautiful area, which is ideal for walking, hiking and mountain biking. Breakfast and evening meal consisting will be served entirely of high quality natural produce. All bread, cakes, jams, cold meats and liqueurs are made by the owners from traditional ingredients according to time-honoured recipes.
Facilities at farmhouse include a large terrace with tables and chairs overlooking the valley and a secluded garden beside a mountain stream. In the house there is a communal living room with fireplace and wood stove, library and children’s games room. Our farmhouse is just 100m from the Romanesque church of Sant Martí d’Ogassa. A festival in honour of the Virgin of Puig de França is held every year on the second Sunday of July with traditional food and dancing.
The traditional cookery workshop : Description
3 days (mornings): getting to know agricultural products; picking vegetables in our garden; collecting mushrooms, herbs and berries; visiting nearby farms where ducks, chicken, sheep and goats are raised. 3 days (afternoons): daily workshop in the farmhouse kitchen. Guests have the opportunity to cook their own evening meal. All participants will receive a hand-painted apron, a traditional Catalan cooking utensil e.g. wooden spoon or knife, a course diploma and a copy of own recipe book.
