Sara, We had a fantastic time on Saturday. We could not have asked for anything more from our guide, Ricard, and the driver was punctual and responsible. Our first winery - d' obac and the tour provided by Carlos was very well done. He was exuberant and seemed to have all the time in the world for us. We each purchased magnums of his select wine. The second winery was very small but the tour included a precarious drive up to the vineyards which was fascinating.We were very fortunate to see this and I suspect I could not easily be duplicated. The lunch was good but did not equal the experience of the rest of the tour. Thanks you very much for organizing this trip. We highly recommend using Ricard in the future. I've cc'd my friend Bob who also was on the tour. He may have additional comments. Hi Sara, I agree 100% with Bob's comments on the wonderful day we had in Priorat. "Now we are back after a fantastic tour. There was nothing to complain, Irene was top, with very good knowledges and very nice. We ate and drunk often and very very good. The hotels were topquality, especially Viura, it was the smartest I ever seen or experienced! Absolutely marvellous! All in the group thought it was a very nice trip. The weather was ok, one day heavy rain, but then we were mostly in the bus or on winetasting so it was the best time for a rainy day. Thank you ever so much for a very wellorganized tour."

The day was marvelous!! Both wineries did a very nice job and we purchased wine at both facilities. The second one made it very nice because they shipped to the US via UPS I am sure you know it is difficult to carry wine back through security. After all of that wine lunch was perfect, but we all needed a nap before our drive back home, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Thank you again for the perfect day and all of your help

The wine tour was a big success - I believe that everyone in our group had a very good time. The first winery (Masia Serra) was excellent - everone enjoyed their enthusiasm about both their wines and the region in general. They had so much to say that we had to steal ourselves away in order to get to the next winery. I was generally impressed with the quality of their wines given the very reasonable prices. It is unfortunate that they don't currently have a US importer because I would like to be able to buy their wines here in the States. The second winery was also very good (Oliver Conti). Both wineries had lovely tasting rooms, and Oliver Conti had some nice cheeses and jamon available with the tasting. The wines at OC were also good, although I think the wines at Masia Serra were better. Then we broke for lunch, which was also good, but perhaps given all the drinking we had done to that point, a little too big. The food was very good, and the setting was lovely, but I think the alcohol was starting to take its toll. The final winery was Peralada. The wines were the least interesting of the 3 wineries, but still good. We were pretty late by that point, but then got an extensive tour of the surrounding castle. Overat lall, an excellent day. If I could change anything I would say the lunch could have been a little shorter/smaller and the tour of the castle at the end was interesting, but also could have been shortened since we were pretty tired at that point and it was late.

I wanted to let you know we had a really wonderful time on staurday. Thank you so much for arranging it. Seeing the difference between torres and albet i noya was interesting. The wine was good at torres but, as you suggested, we really enjoyed albet i noya even more as it was more personal.
