The Wine Colours organizes exclusive wine tours and gastronomic experiences currently covering most of the Spanish wine regions (denominaciones de origen). The “denominación de Origen”, abbreviated to D.O, is a prestigious classification awarded to food products such as wines, cheeses, sausages and hams which meet the stringent quality and production standards of the designated region. D.O labels serve as a guarantee of quality.

The map below can be helpful for those who are not familiarized with Spanish wine regions. To make the process easy, the DO’s have been grouped in 7 subzones. By clicking in the subzones, you will obtain general information about the different D.O’s (history, coverage, localities, authorized grapes…) and also our wine tours and experiences in the selected area.
