Rioja's US marketing campaing Vibrant Rioja wins Award for excellence at the Silver Anvil Awards
The announcement that Rioja’s wine marketing campaign in the US: Vibrant Rioja had won the Award for Excellence in the Marketing Business-To-Business category was made during the gala dinner for the Silver Anvil Awards on 9th June. The Silver Anvil Awards, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), are a benchmark in the US communication and public relations sector and represent important recognition for the intensive marketing effort carried out by QDO Rioja on the US market over the last five years.
During the Silver Anvil Awards ceremony, held in New York last Thursday, around a hundred US communication and public relations companies received awards. In Vibrant Rioja’s case, the award went to CRT/Tanaka, the agency in charge of carrying out Rioja’s marketing campaign on the US market. The Silver Anvil Awards jury panel based its decision on the campaign’s market research, planning, execution and evaluation.
The Silver Anvil Awards aim to recognise those communication and public relations agencies that have successfully carried out a marketing campaign whose effects can be tangibly demonstrated via an applied study. This is the reason that this more than 60-year old competition is one of the most prestigious within the sector, and is famous for its rigorous decision making and the important recognition it represents for companies to form part of the award-winning list.
Vibrant Rioja has carried on an intensive marketing campaign for the wine region’s wines in the US over the last five years. As well as taking part in numerous fairs the length and breadth of the US, the campaign has focused on marketing wines in points of sale and in organised tastings and events open to US wine trade and media outlet professionals. In this respect, Vibrant Rioja recently held its annual Great Match, the wine tasting in which it took a wide range of wines from Rioja to the cities of New York and Miami.
