Wine tour description

Departure from Barcelona at 8:00am to the Costers del Segre wine region. The Costers del Segre D.O. is divided into six subfields and currently has 25 cellars including the Raimat cellar, located in the village of the same name a few kilometres from the city of Lérida. Raimat is considered one of the most prestigious wine cellars as they are one of the world’s most innovative centres for viticultural and oenological research. The techniques applied to vine cultivation and winemaking have required many years of experimentation and research that have gradually evolved into the methods used today.

Other important cellars offering high quality wines are : Castell del Remei located in the Penelles village (where efforts to mechanise the vintage have produced excellent wines such as Gotim Bru and Oda), Costers del Sió in the town of Balaguer, Tomás Cusiné in the Vilosell and the Cérvoles cellar in La Pobla de Cèrvoles amongst others.

We will visit two wineries, where we will enjoy a private tasting led by oenologists from the house.

Lunch will be in a selected restaurant in the area, where you will enjoy a taster menu with wine matching.

Return to Barcelona is scheduled around 18.00
